After visiting the her namesake, the Pacific Ocean, for the first time Shanti fell asleep in the car. Sutay wasn't about to wake her up when we stopped back at Aunt Kitty's house.

On Sunday, March 9, I set up a table and an easel outside the Martha & Bros. Coffee on Church Street at Duncan in Pierre Valley and invited people to draw pictures of themselves or other things in the neighborhood to be collaged into this painting. It was a beautiful day to meet lots of friendly neighbors.
