Savitri, Billy and Chicken Discuss
October 3, 2007
marker and pencil on paper, 8" x 10"

Chicken John Rinaldi played host to his excellence, Reverend Billy, and Billy's director, Savitri Durkee, at Chez Poulet for a discussion about art and perseverance in the face of bad modern architecture.

When I got there, Chicken and friends were finishing a screening of "The Times of Harvey Milk," a brilliant documentary about a true hero. Chicken was gasping as he watched Dan White get away with murder - he hadn't known the whole absurd story before. Hopefully, he'll read The Mayor of Castro Street and learn more about this history and the treachery of Diane Fienstein.

Reverend Billy was in town to promote "What Would Jesus Buy," a movie he made with producer Morgan Spurlock, showing at the SF Indie DocFest.
