Workshop: Sketchnoting 4 Dreaming Abolition

Whenever Todd is in a class or a meeting, he uses drawing to stay focused on the speakers and to process what he is learning in real time.

Join this 2 session workshop to see if any part of this practice can be useful for you - as a student, as an activist, or as just as someone interested in creating a more just world.

You won’t just be learning drawing techniques, you will be collaborating to enhance understanding of what the abolitionist social justice movement can achieve.

A couple of the workshops that look particularly compelling is the “Reclaiming Stories; Dismantling Narratives” with artist Nadïne LaFond and the “60 Second Advocacy” which is, “perfect for anyone who gives public comment during public meetings, where all you’ve got is 60-seconds or less to persuade your audience.”

All workshops in the “Queering Dreams” series are priced on a sliding scale from $5-100.

Learn about the process behind this painting featuring comrade Jason Wyman (including alt text), in the What I Learned in Art Camp article in the blog section. I really appreciate how Jason facilitates a zoom workshop and am very happy to be collaborating with them.
